Our wine-tasting workshops are an invitation to awaken your senses, to discover wine in a new light, and to share a unique moment in the heart of our Boutique and our Cellar.
Throughout the session, you’ll learn to recognise the brilliance of a wine’s colour, the richness of its aroma, and the emotion evoked by a single sip. We’ll guide you step by step through a world where every wine tells a story – the story of the Pic Saint Loup terroir and the patient work of our winegrowers, oenologists and wine merchants.
More than just an introduction, it’s an encounter: with wine, with those who craft it, and with your own sensations.
On the programme:
Exploring aromas with the ‘Le Nez du vin’ workshop
Learning the stages of wine tasting (the eye, the nose, the palate)
Guided tasting of four wines from our cellar (two whites and two reds)
An introduction to the key concepts of the world of wine: reading a label, choosing the right bottle, food and wine pairings, grape varieties and terroir, ageing potential, serving wine, etc.
Tasting accompanied by platters of cold meats and cheeses
