The son and grandson of winegrowers in Saint-Mathieu-de-Tréviers, Thierry Vacher grew up amidst the rhythms of the grape harvest, the wine presses and family meals where wine was already a regular topic of conversation. After a few years spent pursuing a different path, he finally returned to his native region in 1996 to take over the family estate – a natural step, almost a calling.

Under his leadership, his vineyard took a decisive turn: certification in organic farming in 2011, followed by HVE (High Environmental Value) certification in 2019. For him, this is a way of combining tradition and modernity, but above all of doing his bit for the land he loves so much.

Thierry is also a chairman who values dialogue. At the helm of the winery for over 15 years, he strives to drive projects forward without leaving anyone behind, always with diplomacy and respect. He also represents the winery on the board of directors of the Pic Saint Loup wine growers’ association – a role he takes to heart, with the same spirit of consensus.
