A winery, a cooperative,
and terroirs

Our vineyard covers 805 hectares, spread across several appellations, including

AOP Pic Saint Loup, IGP Saint Guilhem le Désert, AOP Languedoc, and IGP Pays d’Oc. Organised into several ranges, our wines express the richness of a varied terroir, characterised by limestone soils, diverse exposures and a unique climate. These are precise and balanced wines, crafted to fully express the identity of the terroir.

Our
History

For over 4,000 years, the lands of Pic Saint Loup have borne witness to human history. From the introduction of vines by the Greeks to their development by the Romans, viticulture took deep root, shaping the landscape and local expertise.

In the 20th century, this winemaking history took on a collective dimension. Between 1939 and 1950, three cooperative wineries were established in Valflaunès, Notre-Dame-de-Londres and Saint-Mathieu-de-Tréviers. In 1993, these three wineries merged under the name Les Coteaux du Pic. This marked a major turning point: the winegrowers joined forces, pooling their expertise and terroirs to take the wines of Pic Saint-Loup to new heights.

In 2012, the commercial entity Vignobles des 3 Châteaux was created to support the development and promotion of the wines.

In 2026, a new chapter began… Les Coteaux du Pic and Vignobles des 3 Châteaux were united under a single name and identity: Stélaïa.

More than just a new name, Stélaïa embodies the continuity of a living heritage; that of a collective of winegrowers and a region whose richness they preserve for future generations.A heritage that comes to life in every vintage, reflecting our history and our region.

Stélaïa, a name that reflects our vision

STÉLAÏA was born out of a desire to establish a stronger, clearer and more unifying identity.

This name is rooted in ancient history: millennia ago, our ancestors carved their hopes into stone in the form of stelae, now known as the ‘Déesses Muettes’ in French. Far more than mere figures, they embodied the beliefs, protection and dreams of a people deeply connected to their land. Through ‘Aïa’, a reference to Gaia, the goddess of the Earth, it evokes origins, life and nature.

STÉLAÏA thus evokes a sense of rootedness, memory and that deep connection to the earth. It is a name that links the past, present and future, and which gives new meaning to our commitment.
